On Planet Georgia, that's like shooting fish in a barrel. I made it a little more challenging by hunting for granite, especially chunks with flat surfaces (thinking about building a stone patio out back). I dug up a couple of 100lb chunks, and sort of dug around one that's probably well over 500 lb... guess I'll need to borrow a tractor.

Now to figure out how to split 'em into pieces suitable for laying down for the patio....Larry Kollarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08317037795075278427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9004909290975090333.post-41715259483144322292007-10-27T14:39:00.001-05:002007-10-27T14:39:00.001-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9004909290975090333.post-15628837315502138652007-10-27T14:39:00.000-05:002007-10-27T14:39:00.000-05:00Thanks, Cathy - we're glad you're here! Thanks, Cathy - we're glad you're here!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9004909290975090333.post-4374970736942893482007-10-27T14:38:00.000-05:002007-10-27T14:38:00.000-05:00I figured he was letting out a big Yippee! at havi...I figured he was letting out a big Yippee! at having finished a first draft, and was now ready to settle down for a nap.

Nancy, you've got a really great group of folks here. And, wow, it's good to check with an expert. Pure and innocent Virgo that I am, I assumed the lion was laughing, but now I see: yawning! Of course. After a good night of hunting.

I did just now notice those vampire teeth she has, in keeping with our theme this week. Poor little reindeer.

Kimberly will know for sure, but it is my understanding that lions LOVE fish, Beth. I'm not sure how much they like getting their paws wet, though, so you may be safe. Too often we lions are shown in menacing poses. While we have excellent pointy teeth, we are not always showing them when we're about to devour something...yes, sometimes we're simply yawning.

We enjoy a good lie-down in the grass when it is hot. As luck would have it, this constitutes most of the day and night in Africa. If we lived in Minnesota, I promise you, we would we be quite frisky and productive.

Until a suitable relocation offer is made, however, you can continue to find us lounging, contemplating our lovely hair.

Thank you for your support.Kimberly Frosthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01858506885360410658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9004909290975090333.post-1304304275587386522007-10-26T22:29:00.000-05:002007-10-26T22:29:00.000-05:00I'm getting a head start on Saturday.
