Almost Sunday around here.
Andi? I happened to see yesterday's photo on a different computer screen than mine, and wow, it was more beautiful than I knew.
Yikes! A Tour -- Nancy, You've taken us on a tour!
I can't wait until tomorrow!!
Morning Nancy and KB.
I've always loved tours. Thanks Nancy.
Well, Nancy, I guess my photos are technology's way of letting you know you need a new monitor.
What a great public service announcement this post is!
And since I don't believe in deferred gratification, you can a Sunday photo post to tide you over till Monday.
Guess I'm the pothole on this tour, Katiebird.
Nancy, yes ma'am, I am wafting and/or waifling and, alas, my blog is no more.
I'm not a blogger, I have learned. I am a blogee. You pitch, I catch.
You are so very generous to have included my baby-bird blog on your page, and others have been so kind to drop by and comment and, in general, help out. Thank you.
I'm off to an auction today. Anyone want anything?

Hey, kb, fm,af, and ghost!
If I'd realized it would make people so happy, I'd have done it sooner! I didn't include links, because they're just over on the blogroll.
Andi, now I look at that new photo and think waaaaa, it's even prettier at my friend's house!
Aw, ghost, dammit, your blog was fun while it lasted. I'll take you off the roll, Taps playing in the background.
And, yes! Please get me some old jewelry that I can take apart to use the beads again. Also, a previously undiscovered Renoir painting.
I just learned that dada has a wonderful show of blues recordings at:
http://kgnu.org/ht/listings.html?show=BluesLegacy
Here are the user instructions:
scroll down to nov 9, click the "listen" icon...enjoy "the blues", low down, hard core, and cathartic…enjoy!
[shows are archived on the site for 2 weeks...also highly recommend dave mac's show...a good bud, and very similar musical selection.]
Hey all!
Granny's 95th birthday party went off pretty well. Mrs. Fetched managed to get her video birthday card together in time (but was working on it well into the morning). Even this was a good thing: Mrs. Fetched's mom (I was driving them to Rome) realized she'd forgotten her fruit bowl about a mile from our destination, so I punched up home on my smellphone and Mrs. Fetched was able to pick it up.
If we're around in 95 years, we'll be doing this again. Granny is immortal.
"Granny is immortal."
lol. Glad the party went well. That generation of women is a bunch of tough ol' birds.
Glad to hear Granny had a great party. May she have dozens more.
I know my 86-year old mother has a grand plan for eternal life -- she's given it a lot of serious thought and decided not to die. ;)
I finally got some coffee in the house (was out this morning) and enough food to keep the rels full for awhile. Then again, with these rels that could last until this afternoon.
FAR I hope Granny had a good time. Unlike Andi's mom, my mom has the line, "I might not be here tomorrow." I keep telling her, yes you might not be and I would be so sad, but remember me in the will. :)
Afternoon, everyone. What a busy morning - I'm a lurker today, trying to catch up on missed words.
We have a gentleman in Coeur d'Alene, Ace Walden, who turned 100 this year. His favorite saying is, "I'm not buying green bananas any more."
Happy Sunday!
Afternoon all. My, Nancy, you are so quick and so organized. I am much impressed.
My mom's favorite saying was: "Getting older is tough but sure beats the alternative!"
Thanks for the great tour, Nancy. BTW, I just finished Dead Crazy. I enjoyed it very much.
We know some amusing Old People!
Did I mention I recently saw the movie "American Gangster?" The one with Denzel and Russell Crowe. I really liked it, but you have to have a strong constitution for violence and blood.
You're welcome, boran2, and thank you. I'm enjoying your new painting very much.
