I'm getting a head start on Saturday. That photo cracks me up.

Sweet dreams.

Wake up laughing.

As a Leo, I'd like to thank you for posting this picture. Too often we lions are shown in menacing poses. While we have excellent pointy teeth, we are not always showing them when we're about to devour something...yes, sometimes we're simply yawning.

We enjoy a good lie-down in the grass when it is hot. As luck would have it, this constitutes most of the day and night in Africa. If we lived in Minnesota, I promise you, we would we be quite frisky and productive.

Until a suitable relocation offer is made, however, you can continue to find us lounging, contemplating our lovely hair.

Thank you for your support.

Nancy,

May I suggest that you consider moving the deer featured directly below us in the Heigh Ho post to a safer location?

Though currently reclining, like vampires, it's best not to tempt lions with anything tasty.

LOL, Kimberly! Way too creative for 5am...Lions don't like fish, do they? :-)

And great picture, Nancy. Hope you had sweet dreams.

Oh, Kimberly, you so made me laugh first thing this morning, thank you very much. And, wow, it's good to check with an expert. Pure and innocent Virgo that I am, I assumed the lion was laughing, but now I see: yawning! Of course. After a good night of hunting.

I did just now notice those vampire teeth she has, in keeping with our theme this week. Poor little reindeer.

Kimberly will know for sure, but it is my understanding that lions LOVE fish, Beth. I'm not sure how much they like getting their paws wet, though, so you may be safe. For now.

Naw, she's just been married a long time. :-)

Probably to a writer.

I figured he was letting out a big Yippee! at having finished a first draft, and was now ready to settle down for a nap.

Nancy, you've got a really great group of folks here. Thanks for the nice welcome!

The caption should be: "CHEEZ!!!"

Went rock hunting this afternoon. On Planet Georgia, that's like shooting fish in a barrel. I made it a little more challenging by hunting for granite, especially chunks with flat surfaces (thinking about building a stone patio out back). I dug up a couple of 100lb chunks, and sort of dug around one that's probably well over 500 lb... guess I'll need to borrow a tractor.

Now to figure out how to split 'em into pieces suitable for laying down for the patio....

Up a little higher in the hills, Far, when you find a really good flat rock, you put your house where the rock is... not the other way around.

Hey Ghost... yeah, none of the rocks I've found are *that* big. Yet. 'Course, I'm at the bottom of the mountains.
