The greenest green that ever greened

"Ferngully," by Andif.

I love this photo so much I may never take it down. It's a photo that makes me wish my novels came with pictures of their scenery. I wish I had written a novel with the words, "magic forest," and if the reader clicked on those words this photo would appear. Be sure *you* click on this photo, to make the bigger version appear, so you can see it in all of its green greener greeniest.

It's only 7:45 and I'm ready to sleep!! Must be the effect of the magic green forest.

See you elves on Sunday.

Hola, Nancy! That forest pic is indeed a faery tale waiting to happen.

I'm home now after a lovely visit. I plan to sleep a lot tomorrow. :)

::waves at those of you showing up later::

Sweet dreams, Maria. We'll see you in the morning. Or afternoon.

My last night in CDA - for now, anyway. Watching Lord of the RIngs, a great escape movie. All packed and ready to go - I hope. Probably won't sleep much tonight. Off to Casper, WY tomorrow - 11+ hour drive. Wish I was sleeping late too, Maria. Glad you had a good visit with Dina!

Thanks for the green reminder - it's somewhere out there.

Hopefully I'll be having lunch with KB and Nancy on Tuesday, and we'll toast you and wish you were with us! Have a great Sunday, everyone.

Safe travels, Beth! We're so excited to get to see you! The weather had better co-operate. (Mumbles threats.)

11 hours -- ugh. Drive carefully, Beth!

May (when that picture was taken) is a magical month -- there's every shade of green imaginable everywhere you look and the leaves are so young that touching them is like stroking a baby's cheek; even the air seems green and newborn.

And bye-bye wonderful long weekend.

Morning all,

Lovely photo, makes me want to go wading.

Beth, hope your trip is uneventful.

Yesterday was putting up pegboard and cleaning the work-room--looks better than it has in years. Today I need to hang some lights, move the trailer up the hill before it snows, seal&peal the storms, and write the (now) annual holiday letter. I was only going to write one, once, in 2000, but the relatives all got quite wound up about it when I said I wag going to stop. Oh well.

Super Sunday to all.

Love, Love, Love that picture too. The reflective water and life humming in all directions.

Fall is packed away-thank you brother dear for catching all the attic tubs.

Christmas tree is up and decorated--thank you Darling Daughter.
Not usually so organized. I'm doing an abbreviated decoration scheme. No big family celebration here. Sighs in relief.
Just immediate family so much more subdued.

I feel a nap in my future.
And I even slept in.
Ahh Decadence.

Succulent Sunday to All.

Hi, all.

Lovely weekend but I am in recovery. As always Andi, just love the picture.

We actually have a dusting of snow today. Perfect to sit in the living room in front of a working fireplace (thanks, Maria!) and dream.

Afternoon Nancy and everyone.

Last of the relatives are almost out of here, and George has scaled back dramatically on his barking.

Tomorrow I start my nap marathon. I'm going to try and break my record for number of naps a day and week. I've been training years for this, and hopefully I'm up to the challenge. :)

Hope the rest of the day is good for everyone and take care.

That is a beautiful photo. I hope that everyone had a good Thanksgiving.

Snow then rain here. What a gloomy day.

I love Christmas letters, Kelly, in spite of their bad rap. Guess I'd better start working on mine, too...thanks for the reminder.

Made it safely to Casper, WY - one day down, three more to go. Clear but cold all day - glad I'm heading south instead of north.

Hope your weather clears up, everyone who is having snow and rain and ick.
