I thought I'd get more time yesterday to visit here, but the day got really busy and flew by. I led my last sisters in crime meeting as president, and we had such a big crowd--because, I think, the topic was publishing. Wish there'd been more good news to tell them, but heck, it always comes down to, "somebody's got to get published; it may as well be me."

I'm driving to Manhattan, Ks. today to do a speaking gig.

Y'all take a tip from the dogs and have yourselves a day of rest! Ha. Sure, you will. :)

Have a good trip, Nancy. Drive carefully.

Hah! With the warm weather the dogs don't need to gather 'round the stove. But they've still got the right kind of plans and they're very nice about sharing them. [LINK] :)

Morning all.

Hope you have a safe drive and a great gig today, Nancy.

Looks like Andi's wrangled us up some lovely weather, thanks Andi! Adorable pic.

Didn't realize your presidency was over, Nancy - glad the meeting went well. Safe travels! Hope you find good eatin' and sleepin' places.

Looks like the perfect way to spend a Sunday, cuddled up with the pups. I'll be hanging pictures and finishing the unpacking/nesting process. And hopefully taking a walk at the beach, or at least sitting by the pool for an hour or so. I've earned it!

Still sending warm wishes north on this sunny Sunday.

Safe travels to Nancy.

Andi the Season Goddess--Good job this weekend. Pat the pups.

Beth--beach, pool--Thinking really green thoughts. Envy that is.
Nesting be good.

Waves to Jen.

I'm wrangling characters in book2.Figuring out who main character is and what she wants. I don't have an antagonist so have to start creating him/her more clearly.
At least with this second book, I have a clue what I need to consider before I write too much drivel. Not so much a pantser like Maria and Beth, so am plotting and planning in advance.

Relaxing Sunday to all.

Morning, all! Woke up about 2 hrs ago, wanted to read a bit, which promptly made me fall back asleep. (Nothing to do with the book, mind you, I wasn't quite ready to be awake).

Think I'll spend a quiet day, doing some thinky writing (i.e., mentally planning out back half of book). There will also be reading...and perhaps Burn Notice.

Wishing everyone a great day of rest!

Hope you had a great time at your speaking gig, Nancy.
Where's Giddy, Andif?
Yikes, Farf, what was that? A bobcat?
Happy writing, Lisa and Maria.
Enjoying watching the snow/ice melt here. :-D
Waves hello.

New rule: never eat at Ryan's before church. ZZzzzZZzzzZZzzz

Bono, we're guessing it's some kind of captive big cat — maybe a mountain lion — that got loose from a sanctuary, since it's (as far as we know) only attacking horses & captive cats get fed horsemeat. Bobcats don't leave a four-inch paw print.

'eveing all. I hope that you had a good trip, Nancy.

We managed to continue our long overdue wallpainting today. Hopefully I'll get to do some on a canvas later on.

It was a lovely warm day in the Hudson Valley.

Far, I hope you solve that mystery.

KB hope you're getting more ZZZ.

WE'VE GOT RAIN!!!!

Marvelous Monday to ALL.

Yay for rain! One of the things I didn't like about living in FL many years ago: not enough rain. Also why I didn't move to San Diego. Enjoy yours, Lisa!

Totally unpacked. Now back to work. So it's a Monday for me, too...

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Sorry you missed all of the fun here, snort.

Waving as I disappear!

How did it get to be Monday so soon??

Thanks, I had a lovely time at my speaking gig.

I'll put up a new post tonight.

I'd be terrorized if I saw one of those paw prints, Farf. Mountain lion, bobcat, puma, I don't know the difference and hope I never need to. lol

Congrats on getting all unpacked, Beth.

I've been trying to catch up on movies before the awards ceremony in less than 2 weeks. So far, I think Milk is my favorite, but I'm only 1/2 way through the list. Lisa, did your uncle/cousin/nephew edit any of the contenders this year? (goes into Brando impression, "I coulda been a contender.")

Hey, all.

Bono--Brother works for Okla. Public Television and produces tv shows. Alas no movies.

I'm way behind on my movies. Brother dear likes the Reader best.
