Or, here.

Kansas. Not the part I'm in, but it is the part I love.

I love that picture, Nancy; what a gorgeous use of topography.

How many more scenes to go?

The dogs have a recommendation for the perfect way to celebrate when you're finished. [LINK]

Happy almost weekend all.

A soothing countryside, undulating hills, layering the colors.

Andif-I'm right there with the pups this afternoon.
A weekend alone as David goes to our property for a manly man weekend. The beginning of dove season, get ready for deer season but mostly swap stories on the deck and around the campfire.
I enjoy the quiet and time to write without the exhaustion of work, some trashy tv and curled up reading.
Fabulous Friday all.

Beautiful country, so quiet and soothing.

Morning, all!

Just one more day until my trip. I just re-set my alarm for 3:15 a.m. (GULP!) as I'll need to be at the airport by 4:30.

If I can't pop in later today, I'll see you all on the flip side!

Have a lovely weekend, Labour* Day holiday and all next week.

Happy long weekend, folks. I love that picture, Nancy - I was surprised the first time I drove thru Kansas and saw that it wasn't just flat, as I imagined. I'd love to see the parts I missed, one of these days.

Lisa, enjoy your peaceful weekend. Have fun, Maria!

And big hugs to everyone else. I have a list of errands to run, and then I think we'll hit the boat for the last weekend of the season.

Enjoy, folks!

Hey, wasn't that the cover photo for Virgin? It sure looks familiar. My copy of the book is at the house, naturally.

Long weekend, longer to-do list that hasn't been attended to for various reasons (maintenance of relatives, primarily), nothing particularly onerous. I'm kind of looking forward to getting some of them at least started.

Back to grinding on the manual.

Andif, cute pic of the pups. Aren't there more than 2?

Housewarming party yet, Beth? ;-)
